POOL SWIMMING COURSES
The pool sessions play a crucial role in helping you prepare for the start of the open water season whether you’re a newbie or an experienced swimmer. Learning how to have an efficient front crawl takes time, patience and dedication which starts in the pool. There is no quick fix!!
Training in a group offers you motivation and the camaraderie boosts you to keep moving.
The weekly structured workout will give you a good foundation to build strength and allow the open water techniques to become second nature. Attending a coached session, you get weekly feedback on your stroke development which helps with achieving better technique, as well as strength and fitness.
The group sessions are great fun as well as your support structure when you move outdoors.
All the swim squads are mixed ability, so you swim in a lane with swimmers that are of similar ability. Bookings are done in blocks following the school terms. Harpenden squad is the only group that offers a drop in.
